Bright Star Studios Announces Alpha Land Sale for Ember Sword MMORPG

Bright Star Studios, a Copenhagen-based game development company, has unveiled its alpha land sale for Ember Sword, a Web3 massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).

After a successful community land sale in May 2021, the company is now offering players the opportunity to own land within the game’s virtual world of Thanabus.

The alpha land sale will be conducted in two phases, with an application-only phase from July 10 to July 30, followed by an open sale starting on July 31.

Customization and Rewards for Landowners

Landowners in Ember Sword will have the freedom to customize their plots with various elements, including buildings, resources, non-player characters (NPCs), and quests.

They will also have the opportunity to earn rewards from other players who visit, trade, and utilize their land within the game. The proceeds from the alpha land sale will be utilized for the ongoing development of Ember Sword.

This alpha land sale presents a unique opportunity for players to become part of the game’s history and future by owning a piece of the virtual world. Each region within the game offers distinct gameplay opportunities and challenges, creating a diverse and immersive gaming experience.

Bright Star Studios is particularly interested in applications from fans who intend to take a long-term approach to their Land NFTs, fostering a strong sense of community within the game.

Bright Star Studios and Ember Sword

Founded in 2018, Bright Star Studios is an independent game development studio with a team of approximately 80 members. Ember Sword is the company’s inaugural title, and it has already raised over $7.1 million in investor funding. The alpha land sale has contributed significantly to the game’s revenue, surpassing $11 million in land sales.

Bright Star Studios has ambitious plans for Ember Sword. In September, the company aims to introduce a player dungeon with unique bosses, showcasing the exciting gameplay elements of the MMORPG. A closed beta is scheduled for later in the year, with a subsequent launch as soon as possible after that.

The game has undergone extensive development since 2018, including the creation of a proprietary game engine capable of running on various platforms, including mobile devices. The company is confident that Ember Sword’s accessibility and performance will enable it to penetrate new markets and reach a broader audience.

With the alpha land sale and upcoming game features, Bright Star Studios aims to create an engaging and immersive gaming experience for players, allowing them to shape the world of Ember Sword and forge their own unique adventures within its virtual realm.
