We are sorry to inform you that our Discord server has been a target of a malicious group of hackers. The hackers took over our MammEths discord on February 13, 2022, and through a scam post that mentioned a pre-mint event tried to lure our devoted community to a malicious website in order to extract funds from them. During the hack, the group also removed a huge amount of our discord members and deleted several channels we have created.
We want to apologize to our community for any inconvenience and assure you that we are making every effort to get back on track. We have already removed some suspicious members from the server, and we are in communication with the Discord support team in order to resolve the case.
We are very sad that a cool project like MammEths, which stems from a very noble idea, can be used as a mean of such a malevolent activity.
We already reestablished the removed channels, and once again the general chat is open for all the members of our community.
To all those members that were removed from our Discord Server, we would like to express our deepest apologies, and let you know that you are more than welcome to rejoin our MammEths and once again be part of the great experience we provide.
Nevertheless, we are continuing with our ongoing activities and contests on the discord channel and not let this slight disturbance influence our drive.
We need you now more than ever in order to spread the word and get things moving much faster. Now is the time to get together and use this setback as a motive for further expanding and fortifying our main cause.
