Trust Wallet Launches Browser Extension Wallet for Desktop

The brand new browser extension wallet from the world’s leading mobile crypto wallet, Trust Wallet, is now live.

Trust Wallet’s browser extension enables users to manage and securely store, send, and receive over 8 million tokens across all EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) chains and Solana.

Moreover, the browser extension is available for use on the likes of Chrome, Brave & Opera.

Building on the success of its self-custodial mobile wallet, the CEO of Trust Wallet Eowyn Chen has responded to the demands of the users.

He said: “Our users’ number 1 request is the browser extension and they want one with the same good user experience as the Trust Wallet mobile app and the multi-chain coverage. We build for users to empower them whichever device they prefer, to continue to access the exciting dApps on different chains. This is our initial step, and we will listen to users’ and developers’ feedback to improve.”

The Trust Wallet legacy continues

Trust Wallet mobile is a multi-chain non-custodial mobile wallet, which allows you to store and manage over 8 million crypto assets including both tokens and NFTs across 70+ blockchains.

Incredibly, the mobile app has already garnered over 60 million downloads and 10 million monthly active users globally, making it a worldwide phenomenon.

With the new browser extension, Trust Wallet now offers a seamless wallet experience for both desktop and mobile environments.

Supported EVM chains include Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, and Avalanche, with the ability to custom add other EVM chains.

Moreover, non-EVMs will be added in the upcoming months and will be announced in due course.

Additionally, Trust Wallet Extension improves the extension wallet’s multi-chain user experience. For example, network auto-detect allows for a streamlined dApp experience without the need for manually adding networks.

In total, eight million tokens are available, which alleviates the need to manually add tokens – thus improving asset trackability.

With all these benefits combined, the browser extension provides an optimized dApp experience for users to effectively discover things beyond centralized exchanges (CEXs), like Web3 gaming, metaverse, DeFi, tokens not found on CEX and more.

Trust Wallet Extension features

In terms of unique features, users can enjoy Trust Wallet’s hardware wallet support.

In time, features that already exist on Trust Wallet’s mobile app will be added to the browser extension.

Namely, features like multi-wallet support, NFT support, and non-EVM blockchain integrations will also be available on the browser extension soon.

The major benefit of Trust Wallet is having the peace of mind to know that your assets are stored in one place, fully controlled by yourself.

With Trust Wallet, your private keys are stored on your device, your assets on-chain, and you can natively buy, swap and stake your favorite crypto without having to leave the app.

What is more, you can also connect to dApps with the in-built DApp browser, giving users a fully-native experience.
