Ready Games to Bring Gaming Into A Decentralised Web3 Experience

Ready Games which was founded in 2016, is ready to reap the rewards of years of solid hard work and effort to transition gaming from web2 to web3; a more decentralised gaming experience.

Ready Games will be doing this with the help of both Apple and Google App stores to make the transition as simple as possible for the everyday mobile gamer.

They have currently raised approximately $3m in token sales of Ready’s native token ‘$AURA’ which they then use to transact within the whole ecosystem.  BITKRAFT, having already previously invested in Ready Games back in 2019, is leading the funding together with Hashed, although other big funds have joined in also. Other funding has come from TribeIOSGSpartanMapleblock CapitalMulana CapitalDweb3Fundamental LabsIBAGSRPolygonSnackClub, and Warburg Serres.

Scott Rupp, Managing Founding Partner at BITKRAFT Ventures is behind Ready’s ability to bring gaming to Web3 and said the following:

“Web3 presents a new paradigm for how games and their communities are built, distributed, and grown. It’s an exciting tech shift for all stakeholders involved, but it’s also new, daunting and still carries significant friction for those looking to make the leap. Ready’s tools and token will make it a lot easier for mainstream devs to enter web3 gaming.”

Ethan Kim, Co-founder & Partner at Hashed was as equally supportive in his support of Ready Game’s to deliver within a web3 environment:

“We are excited to partner with Ready in building the leading web3 mobile gaming and user-generated content ecosystem. Along with Ready’s ability to seamlessly onboard a wide spectrum of games and content, their in-depth understanding of developers, creator communities and players will accelerate mass adoption of blockchain-based gaming.”

Ready Moving Forward

Since its inception in 2016, Ready’s goal has always been to enable game devs to access the ever-growing world of mobile gaming by providing development tools and programmes to incentivise building.

Having been involved with several developers and publishers, working on mini-games on both Google Play Store and Apple Store, Ready Game wanted to use its 2019 funding to expand and explore new possibilities.

In a new decentralised world where GameFi and ‘Play to Earn’ are becoming increasingly popular Ready has decided to capitalise by building a hub that will facilitate mobile game developers to enter web3.

Ready’s environment is groundbreaking as it offers a full suite of live operations for games on-chain while ensuring that developers stay compliant with app store terms. The ability to quickly integrate the $AURA token allows devs to seamlessly go live with a web3 compliant game while reaching a huge audience of mobile gamers through app stores.

David Bennahum, CEO of Ready had this to say on the prospect of quick on-chain integration:

“As a lifelong gamer, I’m thrilled to offer game devs the tools and tokenomics to make it possible to quickly integrate on-chain. It’s incredibly challenging to take the complexities of web3 and make them easily accessible for game publishers: from live operations to loyalty programs and new economic models. We’re excited to see what comes next as we build this collective ecosystem together!”

Ready’s mobile games will also feature various NFTs as they will open their doors to artists who wish to create in-game styles and gadgets to be purchased and traded using the $AURA token. Players will also get rewards through a ‘Play to Own’ environment in which gamers will be purchasing NFT items with the native token. Ready has already partnered with major gaming guilds, including SnackClub with approximately 5 million members all of whom, will be eager to start playing web3 mobile games as soon as they go live.

And here is what Christina Macedo, Chief Operating Officer at Ready Games has to say on the potential market size of web3 gaming:

“There are over 3+Billion mobile players worldwide, currently a huge untapped market in Web3, Ready is tapping this market. By allowing mobile gaming to enter and have a place in Web3 gamefi this finally allows a very diverse global demographic of developers, players and creators to enter Web3 and

collaborate as a united community of game lovers.”
