Attarius Network Announces Gaming Partnership with BOTLabs GmbH, Developer of KILT Protocol

Attarius Network and BOTLabs GmbH, the initial developer of KILT Protocol, today announced that Attarius will incorporate principles of self sovereign identity (SSI), by adopting DIDs and Verifiable Credentials using KILT Protocol. KILT will be integrated into the Attarius Network ecosystem products including the Attarius wallet which has already launched, and the NFT marketplace for in-game items that is launching soon.

Attarius Network is building an all-in-one NFT ecosystem for the gaming industry, with a core focus on developing blockchain gaming in the Middle East and Asia. Attarius Network and KILT are Substrate-based blockchains; KILT is an identity protocol for issuing self-sovereign, anonymous, verifiable credentials.

When gamers are onboarded to the Attarius platform, they will be able to add their purchases, achievements and levels as credentials to their KILT identity. The user will then determine how and when to share these credentials, while keeping this data in their possession. As Attarius and KILT add new partners, users can verify and download their assets and skills acquired in these partner games and tournaments. KILT will also be used for tracking user performance across multiple game platforms and networks.

Users and players on the Attarius Network chain will be able to quickly form gaming guilds and DAOs that match each other in terms of level and skills, using KILT credentials to verify these parameters. This will dramatically accelerate the creation of guilds and DAOs focused on individual games and championships, or with a regional focus in the UAE, Vietnam, Singapore or Northern Europe.

Fundraising for gaming guilds and indie studios could also be accelerated by incorporating KILT credentials into the Attarius wallet and marketplace. Currently the wallet is designed to hold Attarius Network (ATRN) tokens, game tokens and NFTs of in-game items. In the future, the wallet will offer a decentralized onboarding process utilizing KILT and KYC providers, where users would be able to share only the necessary elements of their identity, without creating centralized data stores.

Quote from Ingo Rübe, Founder of KILT Protocol and CEO of BOTLabs GmbH:

“Attarius Network offers multiple use cases for KILT Protocol. Gaming communities and NFT marketplaces are at an inflection point that will be accelerated by blockchain applications. We’re excited to be part of this experimentation and innovation.”

Quote from Oleg Kotlyarov, CEO and Founder of Attarius Network:

“Attaruis Network is very pleased to work with BOTLabs GmbH because they make a great product in the SSI field in our opinion. We really want the onboarding of our users to be the fastest and easiest procedure for them, so that in an instant they can immediately start the game or upload assets to our marketplace or find like-minded people and create a game guild. We see an avalanche-like growth of interest and growth of players in blockchain games, and believe that our cooperation with BOTLabs and the use of KILT Protocol will help us accelerate this growth.”
