North Star Boys Launch 1155 ‘you are my star’ NFTs with Front Row

Asian-American sensations North Star Boys (NSB) have launched their debut NFT drop on Front Row, and sold out in an hour.

Fans of the surging content group clamoured for the ‘you are my star’ single NFTs, which were priced at just $10 on the global NFT platform Front Row.

There remains only a few bundle packs left on Front Row, currently priced at $30.

In total, NSB issued 1155 NFTs, which include digital and real life utilities such as invites to exclusive events, meet and greets, VIP tickets to shows, signed merchandise, and more.

The “you are my star” NFTs commemorate the group’s first single release and comprise 15-second clips of their debut music video.

Founded in August 2021, NSB are a seven-member group who have garnered millions of followers using their social media savvy on platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

The group comprises co-founders and brothers Oliver and Sebastian Moy, along with Regie Macalino, Ryan Nguyen, Justin Phan, Darren Liang and Kane Ratan. Moreover, they’re managed by long-time friend and Forbes 30 Under 30 Entrepreneur Tyler Bray.

Sebastian Moy said: “Selling out of our first NFT drop in an hour completely blew away our expectations. We were getting notes from fans sharing that through Front Row’s platform, the NFTs were super easy to purchase.”

Oliver Moy added: “With the support of the Stars, we are super excited for what the future will hold in regards to North Star Boys entering Web3.”

“We plan on dropping more NFTs as we continue to release music, including a utility-based NFT in the near future. We hope to inspire other independent music creators to integrate their content into Web3 as a way to further connect with their audience.”

NSB – you are my star (Official Music Video)

The ‘you are my star’ NFTs showcase moments from the group’s thrilling journey to New York City, which were compiled to create their first music video.

The single is an ode to their fans, whom they call ‘stars’ and the NFTs can also be purchased via Apple Pay for a more streamlined process.

With such an affordable price point, NSB aimed to make their first drop highly inclusive, thus onboarding as many of their fans as possible to the Web3 realm.

Indeed, NSB believes that emerging technologies like NFTs can unlock deeper, more meaningful connections with their fanbase.

“Growing up in a cyber world, we’ve been constantly adapting to digital innovation, which has helped us get to where we are now in terms of social media,” Sebastian Moy said. “Expanding into this new technology is an exciting way to cultivate deeper relationships with our fans and allow a level of access on both ends that has never been there before.”
