As the Illuvium universe prepares to unfold, this highly anticipated blockchain gaming series has announced its Beta 4 testing schedule, starting with Private Beta 4 on April 30th, 2024. Accompanying the launch is a pre-registration campaign and the introduction of rewarding ‘Play-2-Airdrop’ incentives aimed at refining gameplay ahead of the official launch.
Beginning with Private Beta 4
Private Beta 4, scheduled from April 30th to May 28th, 2024, represents a major phase in Illuvium’s development. This period will offer under 10,000 selected players—the “lucky rangers”—their first glimpse into the game’s complete loop on the Testnet. Chosen from Illuvium‘s active community and through marketing efforts, these players will test key features such as passport integration, asset minting, Illuvidex trading, fuel purchasing, and travel mechanics.
Player feedback is invaluable, hoping to iron out any significant issues to ensure a polished transition to the Open Beta Testnet phase. Illuvium will reward participants with the first Airdrop points as a token of appreciation.
According to Illuvium, players eager to join the private Testnet and earn Airdrop points should pre-register on April 15th, 2024. This grants them an exclusive chance to play before the Open Testnet Phase begins.
Transition to Open Beta Testnet
Following Private Beta 4, the Open Beta Testnet phase will commence on May 28th, 2024. It will welcome all players via the Epic Games launcher for a testing period expected to last 2-4 weeks. This phase is crucial for final adjustments before the public launch, and participants are also eligible for Airdrop Points. 10% of the Play-2-Airdrop $ILV pool is allocated for these Testnet phases, with the initial Airdrop payout concluding this period.
The transition to the Open Beta Mainnet will culminate in rigorous stress testing and system evaluations. Allocating the remaining 90% of the Play-2-Airdrop $ILV pool for this phase, Illuvium aims to continue enhancing all four games post-launch, introducing new features to enrich the player experience.
Play To Airdrop: A Rewarding Experience
Earning airdrop points is straightforward—the more you play, the more points you gather across all three games, preparing players to share in the $ILV bounty over six months. An upcoming dashboard will enable participants to track their accumulated points, simplifying the process as the Open Beta nears.
With a recent $12 million Series A funding, Illuvium Labs is set to bring the interconnected Illuvium Arena, Illuvium Overworld, and Illuvium Zero games to life. Built on the Ethereum ecosystem and leveraging the Immutable X network, these titles promise a new era of interoperable blockchain gaming.
