It’s Grammy Weekend

As Grammy Weekend approaches, the music industry has come alive with a plethora of events and releases to commemorate music’s biggest weekend. Snoop Dogg is one artist that needs no introduction, and for three decades, he has been one of the most influential forces in Hip Hop and the entire music scene.

What do we get when two veterans in the space collaborate to drop a song backed by a metaverse music company just in time for Grammy Weekend? We get perfection.

Artists worldwide use the Grammy Awards as an avenue to reach a wider audience, and there’s no surprise why artists tend to drop new songs just in time for the music fiesta.

On April 2, Snoop Dogg and Billy Ray Cyrus will drop their latest single titled “A Hard Working Man,” As mentioned earlier, the song will debut through Animal Concerts.

In a few moments, we’ll go over how the upcoming single has an NFT aspect to it, but in the meantime, enjoy this quote from Billy Ray Cyrus when asked about his approach to music, “My philosophy to making music is no limitations. No rules, no limits, no preconceived notions. Don’t try to think inside the box or outside the box; just think like there is no box.”

A hard-working man NFT

Animal concerts are the company behind the “NFT song” collaboration by Snoop Dogg and Billy Ray Cyrus, and the company recently gained a considerable amount of fame after hosting live high-profile concerts that feature a few of the most recognizable names in music, including Meek Mill, Alicia Keys, Future, and more.

Animal Concerts is developing an NFT for the song, the collection will feature 50,000 tokens, and Cointelegraph will partner on this project. Cointelegraph will produce the artwork for this collection, and it’ll debut on Crypto.com NFT on April 2.

As with most other projects, this collection offers many perks for music fans, including backstage passes, concert tickets, merch, and free tickets to future Animal Concerts “Meta Concerts.”

Song NFTs: The future of music?

NFTs have provided musicians and people in the music business ecosystem the opportunity to open a new income source that did not exist 24 months ago. Additionally, music NFTs and the metaverse now allow fans to interact with their favorite musicians like never before, making it a win-win for everybody involved.

As we enter Q2 2022, NFTs and the metaverse have become intertwined with the music space, and it’ll be hard to slow down the collaboration between artists and their fans through the metaverse and NFTs.

2022 promises to be an exciting year for NFTs and Metaverse in the music industry, especially since NFTs can count towards music chart positions.
