OKX Integrates Four New Inscription Standards

OKX, a leading Web3 technology firm, has revealed its plans to integrate four new inscription token standards into its platform. These include Atomicals (ARC-20), Stamps (SRC-20), Runes, and Dogecoin’s Doginals (DRC-20) in a move to enhance its Web3 Wallet and Marketplace services.

Beginning February 5, OKX Wallet users can expect full support for SRC-20, with the other standards following later in the month. This update extends to the OKX Marketplace, where users will enjoy zero-fee transactions.

The Technical Expansion of OKX Wallet

The OKX Wallet currently allows users to mint inscriptions across 23 networks, including players like Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, and others.

Jason Lau, Chief Innovation Officer at OKX, emphasized the company’s dedication to advancing Web3 technologies, stating: “By empowering users to easily buy, sell, create, and trade leading token standards on one platform with zero trading fees, OKX is simplifying access and removing barriers so users can explore and realize the potential of inscriptions.”

OKX provides advanced inscription services, featuring hex error checking, liquidity for multiple standards, automatic error detection, and zero-fee trading. This initiative aims to enhance user accessibility and support the growth of Web3.

What are Inscriptions?

Inscriptions, which embed different forms of data onto the blockchain, represent a powerful and versatile technology.

The field of inscription technology has witnessed significant advancements with the introduction of various standards such as BRC-20 and Ethscriptions. These developments have enhanced the capabilities of their respective blockchains, introducing new functions for digital asset management and expanding the potential applications of these technologies.

As a result of these advancements, blockchain functionality has seen considerable expansion. Innovations include the ability to create unique tokens and manage extensive transaction data, leading to a more sophisticated approach to digital asset management. Moreover, advancements in inscription technology suggest a dynamic shift, potentially shaping future trends in how assets are owned and controlled in Web3.
