ZINU The Royalty-Free Zombie NFT

A fan of The Walking Dead?  Then you are going to love what ZINU has in store for you!  ZINU is the world’s only royalty-free NFT and also serves to be the world’s first fully animated 3D zombie.  But it gets better.

ZINU which is short for ‘Zombie Inu’ sides with humanity while fighting (or barking) hard to keep evil forces at bay.  ZINU is constantly haunted by some dark forces at play, and, it is up to the ‘Zombie Mob’ to help fight the force and stand by ZINU’s side.

What Makes ZINU’s Approach So Special?

Well, ZINU is focused on completely disrupting the NFT industry by minting royalty-free NFTs that are completely decentralised meaning that the rights to the NFT are not held by anyone but the owner.  This means that as your character develops within the zombie community then you will have exclusive rights to the character unlike with other NFTs where royalties are paid to the owner. So, theoretically, you could use your unique character commercially from entertainment to gaming to toys or even apparel.  It’s entirely up to you.

What Is The Most Epic Way To Mint These NFTs?

Here is an extract from ZINU’s Twitter explaining what they deem the most epic way to mint NFTs:

“The most epic way to reveal your #NFTs? 👀 Build an elaborate and engaging puzzle that brings the entire community together! 🧩🫂

Essentially, the mint for ZINU’s NFTs was only unlocked after the community known as the ‘Zombie Mob’ were able to unlock a series of challenging puzzles.  These involved finding keys in order to unlock passwords that were hidden in a series of videos which they had been posting since December.  So, the mint date was actually unknown to the mob up until the final puzzle was cracked.  As it played out, the puzzled took the mob about 3-4 days which is how long it took for the mint to sell out.

The Team

The team at ZINU is quite remarkable and consists of senior team members from Amazon, Google, Intel and Microsoft who have deep connections and experience within the tech, media, and entertainment industries.

However, the team also recently welcomed Marvel artists Digger T. Mesch as a huge addition to the already experienced team delivering this project.  Digger T. Mesch is widely known as the founder of ‘Art Asylum’, a collection of toys launched under the name of Minimates Toys, which generated over 50 further series of collectibles for Marvel comics.

The Game

Zinu will be journeying across the ‘ZombieVerse’, building his army consisting of Zinu monsters who are known as the ‘Zombie Mob Secret Society’ (ZMSS).  The #ZombieMob, which is you and I, are cordially invited to follow Zinu on his zombie quest into the ZombieVerse.  The ZMSS collection is 10,000 strong and has a 1 of 1 uniqueness, thus, allowing every NFT holder the chance to hold completely different Zinu characters from one another.  There are currently “trillions of already generated unique 3D full-motion zombified ZINU character combinations” providing a distinct array of unique character traits.

Since October when Zinu made his first public appearance, he has attracted over 40,000+ members into his zombie mob community.  One of them just happens to be Backstreet Boys’ singer Nick Carter who released his ‘Scary Monster’ song and music video which featured exclusive artwork from the NFT project that later presented itself as ZINU.
