First published in France in 1943, Le Petit Prince tells a simple yet philosophical tale of a grown-up meeting his inner child, a young prince, who travels the universe gaining insight, knowledge, and wisdom about life and nature.

Passed down for more than 75 years, the novella is now available in more than 300 languages and is one of the best-selling books in publishing history, having sold more than 200 million copies worldwide.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s beloved tale has also been adapted and brought to life in a wide range of mediums, including plays, films, TV series, operas, ballets, and even brings the journey to life with a dedicated theme park.

“We are very humbled to work with one of the most revered novels of all time. The Little Prince has resonated among countless generations and we’re excited to offer collectors a new, unique way to engage with the storied tale and own digital collectibles that celebrate its legacy.”

— David Yu, CEO, VeVe

Le Petit Prince juxtaposes the often narrow-minded adult persona against the open-minded nature of children, allowing them to explore the world around them, and within them, through an uncorrupted lens. The main theme of the fable is expressed in the secret that the fox tells the little prince: “It is only with the heart that one can see rightly: what is essential is invisible to the eye.”

The original 140-page manuscript of the novella, as well as a number of drafts and early illustrations, are also on permanent display at the Morgan Library & Museum in Manhattan, New York City

“We are proud to have The Little Prince represented in the NFT phenomenon. The Little Prince phenomenon knows no boundaries: all generations, all continents are touched by this work of art. We are grateful for this opportunity to enter a new realm of possibilities.”

— Mr Olivier d’Agay, head of the Saint Exupéry Estate.
