Atari to drop an Arcade HQ in Decentraland.

Bringing to the virtual world Classic Atari titles like Pong, Break-Out!, Asteroids, Missile Command, Centipede and more!

Game Creators to be Granted Atari License

The HQ is the first step to get involved with the NFT community.

Atari & Decentraland will also be joining forces to drive the creation of community built arcade games for the first ‘Decentraland Game Jam’ of 2021.

Game Jams are Decentraland’s quarterly creative sprints where the community works to create scenes and experiences that populate the metaverse.

The ‘Atari Game Jam’ will run for two weeks in February and the best games created by the community will be included in the retro arcade.

Atari will grant a master license to all developers in Decentraland for the creation of games. Under the license, all developers are allowed to create Atari games under standard Atari licensing guidelines; specifically three-year terms, with games approved by Atari and revenue shared between the creator and company.

Exclusive Atari Themed Wearables!

Atari themed wearables will also be made available as prizes in a ‘play to earn’ model including caps and t-shirts.

Decentraland Wearables have sold for $1,000’s already on the secondary market.
