Enjin posted on their Twitter account that a long awaited Minecraft (Enjincraft) plugin upgrade will be coming in February 2021, on the heels of a previously announced partnership with the Japanese exchange Coincheck.
Coincheck has over 3 million registered users, so there could be a lot of hype and demand right out of the gate.
The exchange will also be developing an NFT marketplace which is another bullish sign for NFTs in 2021.
Minecraft is an absolutely massive game which could spark a huge increase in user activity around NFTs. Critics cite Ethereum’s inability to scale as a reason not to get too excited just yet.
As of today, January 17th 2021, the price of Enjin coin has nearly reached a two year high.
Enjin also mentioned an upcoming upgrade planned for the Enjin Wallet, which is already one of the most user-friendly NFT wallets.
There has been no recent news on the release of Effinity, Enjin’s scaling solution.
